A lively ray of sunshine who shows every day just how much fun life is with an Icelandic Sheepdog!

Her Character & Temperament: As a typical “happy-go-lucky” type, she is cheerful, friendly, and people-oriented.
Her temperament: She is lively, quick, and agile, making her an ideal companion for athletic activities.
Her willingness to learn: Icelandic Sheepdogs like Eydís are known for their intelligence and eagerness to work; they learn quickly and enjoy working closely with their humans.
Breeding: She comes from a line focused on health and stable-tempered family dogs.
Since her half-sister now has breeding approval, I will not include her in my breeding program again. Instead of breeding sisters in parallel, it is important to maintain a healthy and broad genetic diversity in our Icelandic dogs. Instead, she may continue to whirl through everyday life as our “happy-go-lucky” type, full of pure joie de vivre, engaging in sports, and claiming her humans 100% for herself.

I had another male in mind at first, but he wasn’t accepted.
It’s all part of the journey, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Ihr Charakter & Wesen: Als typischer „Happy-go-Lucky“-Typ ist sie fröhlich, freundlich und menschenbezogen.
Ihr Temperament: Sie ist spritzig, schnell und agil, was sie zu einer idealen Begleiterin für sportliche Aktivitäten macht.
Ihr Lernwille: Islandhunde wie Eydís sind bekannt für ihre Intelligenz und ihren Arbeitseifer; sie lernen schnell und arbeiten gerne eng mit ihren Menschen zusammen.
Zucht: Sie stammt aus einer Linie, die auf Gesundheit und wesensfeste Familienhunde ausgerichtet ist.
Da ihre Dreiviertelschwester jetzt die Zuchtzulassung hat, nehme ich sie nicht wieder in meine Zucht auf. Anstatt Schwestern parallel in der Zucht zu haben, ist es wichtig, die genetische Vielfalt unserer Islandhunde gesund und breit aufzustellen. Sie darf stattdessen weiterhin als unser „Happy-go-Lucky“-Typ purer Lebensfreude durch den Alltag wirbeln, Sport treiben und ihre Menschen zu 100 % für sich beanspruchen.
