Wikingertage mit Steinunn’s Viska – Kennel Sangilak – Schweden

En helg om hunden – på vikingatiden var hunden en viktig del av samhället. 16-17 augusti!
Det blir två dagar med extra allt för er vars hjärta bultar för våra fyrbenta vänner. Eventet arrangeras i samarbete med Svenska Isländsk Fårhunds klubben och Kennel Sangilak.
Uppvisning i vallning, hundparad, gos och klapphörna, tipspromenad för både människa och hund, föreläsningar om hundar i den arkeologiska kontexten och om Isländsk Fårhund och mycket mer. Självklart erbjuder vi även guidade turer i Birkas fornlämningsområde!

A Weekend About Dogs – In Viking times, dogs were an integral part of society.
Join us for two days packed with everything for those whose hearts beat for our four-legged friends. The event is organised in collaboration with the Swedish Icelandic Sheepdog Club and Kennel Sangilak.
There will be herding demonstrations, a dog parade, a cuddle and petting area, a quiz walk for both humans and dogs, lectures on dogs in the archaeological context and about the Icelandic Sheepdog, and much more. Of course, we also offer guided tours of Birka’s ancient remains!
